SaaS platforms

A SaaS is a product and a business at the same time. Tenant separation, billing, quotas and the account lifecycle are treated as first-class features from the start.

SaaS

What we build.

Multi-tenant products billed by subscription, built to be operated for years.

  • Multi-tenant architecture

Each customer’s data separated by design, from the database schema to the permissions.

  • Subscription billing

Plans, trials, renewals and cancellation, connected to your payment provider.

  • Accounts, roles and teams

Invitations, roles and permissions that match how your customers organise themselves.

  • Usage limits and quotas

Plans that mean something: limits enforced by the system, visible to the customer.

  • Administration console

The internal side of the product: customer support, account management and audit trail.

  • Public API

An authenticated, documented API so customers can connect your product to theirs.

Approach

How we approach it.

The decisions we make early, so they do not have to be fixed late.

  1. Tenancy decided first

How customers are separated shapes everything else, so it is the first architecture decision.

  2. Cancelling is as easy as subscribing

The same rule applies to your product as to ours: no buried cancellation path.

  3. Exportable data

Customers can take their data with them. No lock-in whose only purpose is to make leaving expensive.

  4. Run after launch

Monitoring, patches and backups continue once the first customers arrive.
